Paul Rieken spent over twenty-seven years in leadership positions within organizations committed to improving the lives of others: adjudicated and at-risk youth, individuals with developmental disabilities, and seniors. He served in positions ranging from front-line staff member to Executive Director and spent over thirteen of those twenty-seven years leading staff training and development departments. In every position throughout his career, Paul was highly committed to helping those he worked with develop the knowledge and skills needed to excel.
Paul founded Normative Point, LLC, a professional development consultancy, because of a passion for helping teams, leaders, individuals, and organizations become the best versions of themself. He loves assessing, addressing, and resolving issues so those he works with can reach their full potential, and he looks forward to the many "light bulb" moments that occur along the development process. His experience in dynamic work environments, formal training as a facilitator and trainer, education, and commitment to lifelong learning uniquely qualify Paul to apply his expertise to the challenges and opportunities facing organizations today.
Paul earned his master's degree in organizational performance and his bachelor's degree in human and social services administration performance from Bellevue University. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Lincoln, Nebraska, with their highly energetic miniature poodle and very non-energetic cat. Their three daughters live in Florida, Oregon, and Nebraska.
